Critical Hit Robotics / Teams

Two teams,one workshop.

Same tools, same bench, same late nights. Students pick the competition that fits — or run both.

FTC#33689

FIRST Tech Challenge

An 18-inch cube of aluminum, custom brackets, and a season of iteration. Our FTC squad designs in CAD, machines its own parts, and codes autonomous routines in Java — judged on both the robot and the engineering notebook behind it.

VEX#TBD

VEX Robotics Competition

Faster turnaround, tighter matches. Our VEX program builds from the VEX V5 ecosystem, prototyping strategy weekly and running driver-skills laps until the controls are muscle memory. Team number is being registered for the upcoming season.

The loop

How a season runs

01 · Design

Strategy from the game reveal, then CAD. Every mechanism is drawn before a bolt is cut.

02 · Machine

We fabricate our own parts — sheet metal, brackets, mounts — and assemble to spec.

03 · Drive

Code the autonomous, tune the driver controls, and log every practice run.

04 · Iterate

Break it, measure why, redesign. The notebook captures every revision.
